We saw a leak of the MOTOKEY Social just a little while back, but now it’s official. The device, speculated to be hustling a Facebook button has come to life in Canada, as we just got word today from our contact. Featuring a 2.4″ touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard, the MotoKey Social (MOTOKEY SOCIAL) runs off a proprietary platform while including a Facebook button. And while we’re thinking it’s not going to be as good as the HTC ChaCha (or HTC Status, depending on where you are), it seems that this’ll be a good phone for youngsters wanting in on the smartphone/feature phone craze.
Inclusive of Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, and other social and web integrations, the MotoKey Social is heading to Telus prepaid in the near future, and we’re unsure of the pricing at the time. There’s a 3MP camera and possibly WiFi, but it’s a low tier device, and the data speeds seem to run at only 3G, if we’re not mistaken. We’ll let you know how it is when we get our review unit, but see the images for a render, and let us know what you think in the comments.
